Kenneth Cole’s Cairo tweet: A story made for Storify

I’ve written before about Storify, but thought it was worth revisiting after last week’s Kenneth Cole Twitter debacle.

My previous efforts at incorporating Storify into our coverage at The Province have focused on gathering reaction on social networks to news that happens in the real world. A recent example was the unveiling of Douglas Coupland’s design for the new Terry Fox monument outside BC Place.

Storify is not bad for that, but where it really shines is in telling stories that originate and play out primarily in social media. It lets you trace these stories back to their origins, and chronicle how things unfolded from there.

Since Kenneth Cole’s tweet was a classic example, I’m embedding it here so you can see Storify doing what it does best:
